Talking Business with Awarepreneurs!

You are here: Home \ business \ Talking Business with Awarepreneurs!

I had the honor of being a guest on Paul Zelizer’s incredible Awarepreneurs Podcast where we talked about the power of starting your own business and all things related to social entrepreneurship. Not only does business ownership empower the founder, but it also empowers the founder’s family and local community.

Contrary to popular belief, you can be a change agent and still make money. Social justice and social entrepreneurship are not at odds with capitalism and you can have a “good” business while earning a decent income.

After mindset and perspective shifts, we talked about what it takes to leave a legacy, the books we’ve read, mindfulness practices, and working in your strengths.

Whether you have a side-hustle or a full-time hustle, this is for you. My main goal is for you to understand the power of your business as an entrepreneur. Don’t be afraid of what you don’t know, go out there, learn, join a community, and thrive!

I truly enjoyed this conversation and I know you will too, so go ahead and listen, be inspired, and then tell us how it made you feel. But also, don’t be stingy, share this post and the episode with another entrepreneur in your community who could benefit from the conversation. Entrepreneurship is hard by yourself, but a community of entrepreneurs can’t be stopped!
